Does Throwing Trinity Under the Bus Stop the Bleeding?

By Dan | June 2, 2008

In a word; No.

As Rush Limbaugh says: Obama is Trinity. It is clear to everyone that Obama is only leaving this church because he is catching grief for it. This was not a sincere move, it was a political one. He still agrees with Reverend Wright and Reverend Moss.

There is ample evidence, in his own books, in the fact that he was a member of this radical church for 20 years, in what is wife says when we are allowed to hear her speak, that Obama believes in black liberation theology.

This theology preaches separation, it fosters hatred of white people as white society is seen as the genesis of all the evils in the black community. Instead of preaching the love of Christ and salvation this church preaches leftist politics and hatred of America.

Obama can recover from this, he has enough time. He is also benefiting from the fact that most voters are not yet paying attention. But leaving Trinity now, months after Reverend Wright’s radical sermons came to light only serves to give the story legs for another week or two. He is hoping that it will end there, but those of us on the right will not forget.
