Can Obama Win Without PA?

By Dan | November 3, 2008

Interestingly enough Obama may have given this election away back in January when he attacked the coal industry. Combine that with his “bitter clingers” comment and you can see why the polls have him struggling in PA.

If Obama loses PA his path to the White House becomes very complicated. He would have to carry VA, a state that is quickly trending away from him and he would have to pick off NC a state that has always been a pipe dream.

Obama thought at this point that he would not be defending the Kerry state of PA and would have time to focus on OH and FL, two states that he desperately needs but that internal polling shows him losing badly.

I thin this election comes down to PA, if Obama carries it he wins the day. If Obama loses it, a much more likely scenario today than two weeks ago, McCain will take the White House and Olberman will jump out of the window over at MSNBC.
