What’s next, gas rationing?

By Dan | June 18, 2008

Today House Democrats did the unthinkable, they finally admitted who they are. They are socialists. They want to nationalize the oil refineries. They said it out loud. They admitted they want to take over a significant portion of the economy.

Why couldn’t they have said this in 2000 or 2004? It would have made everything so much easier. Now we can just play the tape, we don’t even have to show their voting records to prove that they are socialists. They freely admit that they want to take over health-care, now oil refineries, what is next? Airlines? Tobacco? Fast food?

The possibilities are endless and if we let them take over this portion of the economy we will never get it back. If you think prices are high now, just wait until Obama and Pelosi are in charge.

*Update* Stop the ACLU has the video and Michelle Malkin has Boehner’s response
