McCain Has Lost His Base

In 2000 when McCain first ran against Bush he had one large constituent group: The Media. This time around Obama is the media darling. Look at the fawning praise that Obama has garnered.
The media downplay all of Obama’s flaws. Tony Rezko, his friend of 18 years and next door neighbor was convicted on 16 counts and the media plays along as Obama plays dumb.
While the media ignores or tries to minimize Obama’s relations with criminals, terrorists and radical preachers they are not doing McCain any favors.
If McCain thought he was going to be the media darling “maverick” Republican he was sorely mistaken. Now he has to win this election with his old friends squarely against him.
